MOOSE'S GUNSMITHING
Moose’s Gunsmithing and Machine Shop Store Policies
Hours are By appointment only. We do not accept walk-ins at this time. Please schedule at least 24 hours ahead of time.
An in person appointment requires a $20, payable upon arrival, non refundable deposit on labor before any inspection will occur. This goes towards the final labor bill and is not an additional charge.
Any job requiring special order parts or materials will require a parts deposit.
We do not ‘work while you wait’. All work is subject to our most current lead times.
All prices are estimates only and assume there are no latent defects with the firearm or parts to be repaired or modified.
All complete firearms taken in for mechanical work (triggers, action, or barrel) will be test fired before release to customer. Customer provided ammunition can be used if it is in good condition and in original sealed factory packaging. Otherwise you will be billed for shots fired at the current market price.
Customer provided, previously used triggers, bolts, barrels, or other critical action parts will not be used.
No warranty of any kind will be provided on any used parts of any type.
There is no implied warranty of serviceability on any custom or one off parts made to customer specifications.
No advice on how to complete repairs will be given for liability reasons.
Please see our FAQ for a general list of firearms we do not service.
All payments are final and non refundable. Payment is due in full before release of the firearm or other work completed.
If work is not paid for within two weeks of customer notification that work is complete, a $10 per day storage fee will be charged until the work is collected and paid for in full including all storage fees. 45 (forty-five) days after intitial notice the firearm will be considered abandoned and sold to recover costs unless priror arrangements are made.
By shipping or placing a firearm into the custody of Moose's Gunsmithing you are agreeing to these terms.
